Ethos | White Paper | Written For C Caldwell Group

“Ethos” is a word that in ancient Greek means “accustomed place.” But the word’s old-world definition has nothing to do with Ethos Environmental, a company that sells automobile chemicals that are supposed to make your car run with greater efficiency.

Here’s a brief explanation of what Ethos Environmental’s products are and what they claim to do:

Ethos FR

Ethos Environmental is the manufacturer and distributor of “fuel-reformulating products” known as Ethos Fuel Reformulators, which are referred to as Ethos FR for short.

But what exactly does Ethos FR do? Well, it’s a chemical that’s supposed to be compatible with any fuel in the internal combustion engine of an automobile. Once you add Ethos FR to your car’s fuel, it adds “cleaning and lubricating qualities” to said fuel. This has a number of effects:

— Cooler-performing engines

— Increased fuel mileage

— Reduced emissions

— Lower maintenance costs

The Ethos Environmental website also says that the value of their Ethos FR product has been proven through millions of miles of testing on the road, but it’s difficult to know if that’s an assumption or if there have been scientific standards applied to the chemical for testing.

Additionally, Ethos Environmental claims that its customers have achieved between a seven and 19 percent increase in their fuel mileage, with an even greater reduction in fuel emissions by over 30 percent.

MLM Opportunities

Ethos Environmental is based in San Diego, California, but their product distribution reaches throughout North and South America, Western Europe, and the Asia Pacific Rim. Of course, Ethos Environmental is looking to aggressively expand to sell their products in more countries around the world.

Ethos Environmental first began their MLM division in 2006 to increase their worldwide distribution. But in November 2009, the company merged with Youngevity, an international direct marketing company. As you can imagine, this is going to increase Ethos Environmental’s MLM outreach quite a bit.

So, what does all of this mean for you? Well, right now, you should concentrate on ECOMATES, the MLM division of Ethos Environmental. This is where you’ll find all of the information you need in deciding whether or not Ethos Environmental is right for you.

ECOMATES is making a strong push to promote the “green” factor of Ethos Environmental, which is a smart sales pitch in today’s environmentally conscious world.

But beware: to become an “Independent Business Owner” (IBO), you’ll have to buy Ethos products wholesale and then sell them at their retail value. Your customers will also have the opportunity to become “Preferred Customers” (PC), granting them a 15 percent discount.

As with any other position as an MLM marketer, the more you sell the better the commissions you’ll pocket. But Ethos Environmental’s ECOMATES is a little complicated. Commissions are dependent upon the formation of “left” and “right” teams. These teams are measured by how many retail and preferred customers you accumulate, and then how many people you bring in as new IBOs. The more sales the members of your right and left teams make, the more of a commission you’ll see.

Final Thoughts

I’m the first to admit that the system at Ethos Environmental and ECOMATES is a little confusing, but the company’s website is easy to use and offers a handy PDF that thoroughly explains it all.

Just keep in mind that this is a system dependent on bringing people into the Ethos fold, so you’ll need to be a team player.
